Robert Thompson Mouseman style oak recliner

A great Robert Mouseman Thompson style oak recliner; c1950's.

This was probably made by one of his apprentices for later private use.

Based on the classic earlier c1930's Mouseman recliners.
It conforms pretty much to the original designs (minus the carved mouse!);
but slightly more compact proportions.

Original leather interlaced strapping to seat; the whole reclining back/seat is removable.
Newly made upholstered grey linen cushions.

Overall height: 36.5"
Height to seat: 11" or 17" inc cushions.
Height to top of arms: 20.5"
Overall width across arms: 23.5"
Inner width between the arms: 17.5"
Overall depth: 29"
