Superb & rare pair of adzed oak early period small benches or hall seats (or can be side tables) by Robert (Mouseman) Thompson; c1929.

Clever profile styling design; side view looks like a blank Mickey Mouse shape face/ears!

Excellent provenance; originally made for St Joseph's Catholic Church in New Ollerton, Nottinghamshire.

Each bench approx 21.5" high, 32" wide and 12.5" depth.
