Superb Cotswold School oak double wardrobe by one of the top craftsmen, Arthur Romney Green; c1930's

Internally; central bank of open shelves above set of drawers with unusual inlaid knobs, flanked by two spearate hanging areas.

At some point in its distant past, or possibly when it was made for a client, the wardrobe was neatly cut about two thirds of the way across,
 no doubt for ease of taking upstairs or suchlike and subseqently put back together/reinforced with heavy duty strap hinges.
You can see, if you look closely at some of the images and the last image of one of the strap hinges (at top).

Approx 4ft 7" wide, 6ft 2.5" high and 22" depth.
Does not come apart easily/very heavy.
