Superb & extremely rare, Arts & Crafts large part glazed bookcase cabinet by Sir Ambrose Heal; part of his " Fine Feathers" suite of furniture, c1898.
Stylised peacock inlay to doors and further pewter and other wood inlay throughout.
Legend to top cornice inlaid in brass "As Bees From Flowers Do Thou From Books".
Illustrated in the Jeremy Cooper book " Victorian & Edwardian Furniture & Interiors" pl 647.
