Rare Keswick Mawson copper mirror

Superb quality and very rare Keswick School arts & crafts hammered copper mirror by WH Mawson. Beautiful stylised floral designs to the copper reminiscent of William Morris, centred by a Lancastrian rose, the sides and lower corners also decorated with roses, within finely-rendered foliage and overall Voyseyesque shape to mirror circa 1900. Approx 18" by 25" - a very good size.
William Henry Mawson was one of the craftsmen employed at the Keswick School of Industrial Arts and his work was featured in the Studio Magazine of 1896 and 1902. He was awarded a 1st School Prize at the Keswick School in 1898.
Stamped lower right W.H. MAWSON/KESWICK and twice to the framework verso .W.H. MAWSON/KESWICK and W.H.MAWSON/K.H.I/KESWICK - the KHI standing for Keswick Home Industries.
