An extremely scarce cast iron Arts & Crafts fender with large pierced heart cut-outs, riveted construction and scrolled castellated design top, designed by CFA Voysey and manufactured by Thomas Elsley, Ltd., Portland Metalworks, London, c1898.
Similar illustrated, in the Thomas Elsley catalogue of Voysey designs, ref. 1678 (original copy held in the CFA Voysey RIBA archives at the V&A Study Rooms)
