Rare Arts & Crafts Glasgow Style oak bookcase with a stunning polychrome stencilled panel; portrait of a young woman in a landscape scene, entitled " My Ladies Garden", by Shapland & Petter of Barnstaple, Devon for Wylie & Lochhead of Glasgow. We have had this similar form of bookcase before but never with this stencilled designs. With excellent provenance as well; by repute, originally purchased at the famous 1901 Glasgow Exhibition/Wylie & Lochhead stand and has been in the same family since.

NB it does have it`s four adjustable shelves but unfortunately not showing in images!
Approx 72" high, 51" widest 14.5" deepest.
