Unusual japanned metal late Victorian deed box with a striking geometric gothic styled handle possibly designed by Dr Christopher Dresser. A good quality box with patent locking mechanism and makers name of Jones Bros of Wolverhampton stamped to inside of each domed brass nodule. Circa 1880.
