JA McNeil Whistler print autograph note

Portraits of the famous painter, James Abbott McNeil Whilstler (1834-1903) - from an etching by Mortimer Menpes, who also wrote a book on Whistler (see last image of newspaper cutting stuck on back of this frame). 

Alongside is also an original personalised autograph note signed by Whistler himself with his butterfly mark, presenting the portrait to Dear Miss Franklin...... c1890s.
