A very good, strong, & stylish design Arts & Crafts well patinated, bronzed metal, extending standard lamp of heavy gauge (and loaded base) medieval styling; very much in the manner of the Birmingham Guild or similar; c1900. 

Approx 5ft high, extendable to approx 7ft high (plus whatever shade one uses).
