Unusual Arts & Crafts/Aesthetic Movement metamorphic oak gentleman`s armchair of very comfortable & generous proportions, that magically transforms into an equally comfy examining /massage couch!

Very well & securely constructed mechanism; c1870`s/80`s.

Recently traditionally upholstered and recovered in grey wool fabric by Pierre Frey.

Design in the manner of Dr Christopher Dresser.
