A previously unseen (with the repousse metal panel) version of the Liberty & Co wall hanging bookshelf/rack with motto;
c1895 (based on their Kenwald photo wall bracket and other smoking wall cabinets).
Approx 30" by 31.5" by 6"
This one with an extremely well patinated central copper plaque with repousse design of a James Abbott McNeill Whistler type central butterfly/moth and stylised leaves, with further stencilled design of a lion and the motto " Choose An Author As You Choose A Friend" .
