A fine and stylish example of an Edward Barnsley (with stamped marks) designed single chair in walnut, inlaid with sycamore c1970.
Cloth upholstered seat. A complete set of eight of these single chairs and two carvers (with green leather seats) were originally designed by Barnsley and made in 1970 by Malcolm Clubley, one of his apprentices, as a commission for their client Mrs Jon Lucas
