A rare and beautifully proportioned excellent quality Arts & Crafts domed top oak cabinet of compact size.

Pair of cupboard doors over three drawers, with stunning Rathbone strapwork metalwork hinges and handles (possibly silvered); the whole very much in the manner of CFA Voysey, for whom Richard Llewellyn Rathbone (WAS Benson`s cousin) did indeed design and make metalwork for.
AH Mackmurdo style feet and the upper domed Queen Anne section has a distinct look of the Sir Robert Lorimer about it.

With its original, most exquisite, and again, very Voyseyesque, intertwined heart shaped key.
