Thomas Elsley fireplace surround Voysey

A very good and ornate large cast iron fireplace surround by Thomas Elsley & Son; c1890, with Gothic & floral design. Possibly another unrecorded rare CFA Voysey design for them. Voysey`s early work (furniture and other designs) did exhibit Gothic influences (as did his background training). Another previously unrecorded (and now sold elsewhere) Voysey/Elsley fireplace surround (narrow bedroom size one) surfaced a few years ago (see last image to compare).
Approx 48" wide, 42.5" high; opening approx 20.5" wide and 27.5" high. Stamped Elsley marks to rear.
