A lovely example of a quarter-sawn oak quatrefoil shaped tray table by Arthur Simpson of Kendal, a good friend of the architect CFA Voysey (who designed his house Littleholme for him).
Arthur Simpson made his own furniture and also made for Voysey. This piece dates from the late 1920s. Stamped shape numbers to underside.
Approx 2ft high and 2ft across.
Wonderful colour and very good quality. Tray lifts up and the base is collapsible.
