The top of the back with egg and dart moulding above a pierced shaped back containing the carved inscription.
Typical Simpson shaped open wide flat arms and seat with carved wavy apron raised on square tapering legs.
A similar piece (a settle version; different motto) was exhibited in the Liberty Selling Exhibition in 2005; exh. 25F.
