Superb oak Arts & Crafts carving by Arthur Simpson of Kendal; c1910/20
This was originally part of a reading stand (see last image/archive) with a carved dedication from Broomfield School, Manchester.
Although the carved dedication is dated for 1933, the intricately & richly carved panels would have been made earlier by AWS and later incorporated into the reading stand especially.
Would make a great decorative wall hanging or similar.
Approx 40" high and 18" widest.
