A fine example of an oak and inlaid Glasgow Style Arts & Crafts dwarf bookcase cabinet by the noted Barnstaple maker, Shapland & Petter (fully marked) with an inlaid panel of hearts etc, after Mackay Hugh Baillie-Scott.
With typical geometric chevron inlay to edges and square cut-outs to sides.
Nice exposed dovetail joints to top, very much in the best traditions of arts & crafts construction; circa 1900.
Can be free standing or hanging.
These dwarf bookcases used to be (incorrectly) attributed to the maker John P White of Bedford for whom Baille Scott designed.

Dimensions tbc but approx 32" high, 20" wide and 7" depth.
