Looking back at 2017......
Thanks to all of you; we've had a truly cracking year.
In fact, our best year to date!
Without doubt the main highlight of the year, was our sourcing of the previously missing and untraced Charles Rennie Mackintosh sideboard (detail below); one of his c1920 Modernist Northampton commissions.
Some items are a joy to source, research, restore and finally find a good home for them. This piece was no exception; everything went smoothly and it quickly found a special home; in a UK private collection.
We subsequently then found other homes for our Mackintosh architectural drawings, so all in all a good year for Mackintosh.
