A superb and very well patinated oak and copper Arts & Crafts desk-top (or could possibly be wall hanging) small bookcase of compact proportions, circa 1900, with beautiful repousse copper panels of stylised designs to either side of the central shelves; the panels attributed to John Pearson, the famous Arts & Crafts metalworker; very much in his manner.
Approx 12" high by 21.75" wide and 5" deep.
Originally designed to hold miniature sets of books but can be used for small books or as a display unit.
