Good stylish pair of oak rush seated Arts & Crafts side chairs, tall tapering back with stylized ebonised leafy inlay to back splat, again very much in the manner of MH Baillie Scott. We had another pair of these before with a Gillows type stamped letter/number (later Waring & Gillows) on the underside, and a retailer’s label of Hampton & Sons; c1905.
