A charming and well executed Pre-Raphaelite style original watercolour depicting a group offering to a Queen surrounded by female attendants; very much in the manner of William James Neatby, Robert Anning Bell and indeed Frederick Cayley Robinson

Approx 27" by 11" including frame.

The actual composition is very much like that of the watercolour of a mosaic frieze by Robert Anning Bell at the Hornimann Musuem in London (see last image bottom picture to compare with).
With the "ESK" (Examined South Kensington) embossed stamp lower left, so was entered in the National Competitions at the time; c1905.
Both amateurs and accomplished professional artists & craftsmen entered these competitions.
