Rare early Mouseman oval dining table

A superb and rare early Robert (Mouseman) Thompson  (1876-1955) commissioned, c1930`s, oak, shaped dining table with semi-circular ends (quite a rare shape) on two octagonal legs joined by a low floor level stretcher; adzed all over and dowelled top. Carved trademark mouse to base.
Of excellent quality timber, and retaining a very good colour. 
Table: max length: 5ft 9” w: 3ft
We also have the  four original matching chairs (3+1); adzed all over, carved signature mouse to each and retaining their original leather seats.These are listed  on the website and available separately. The table (and chairs) were specially made for one of their customers in 1936 and listed in their order books. The table can take an additional two chairs if need be; seating six.
