A very unusual early 20thC cast iron and bronzed stand/sculpture (possibly associated); comprising and extending cast iron floor stand couple with the bronzed bird sculptured domed fitting!
Not sure of it's original function but can happily be used as a coat stand or just as a striking piece of industrial sculpture!
The bird dome is very much in the manner of a table lamp that the British Arts & Crafts architect, Robert Weir Schultz designed.
Approx 58" to a max 88" high.
