Stunning and rare large Arts & Crafts coloured painted plaster panel by William James Neatby (1860-1910).
In it's original oak frame; signed and dated for March 1902 top right. Restored.
Another "The Heart of the Rose" is in the collection of the Wolfsonian Museum in Florida.
Excellent provenance; originally in the collection of Charles Holme (1848-1923), the writer, and founder of The Studio magazine.
Also illustrated in the Studio Yearbooks (possibly this exact same one)
