Fantastic and rare example of a very well patinated oak and copper Arts & Crafts coal box by the master metalworker, John Pearson.
Beautifully patinated and superbly executed copper panels with his typical fantastical beasties; c1900.
One of the best pieces by him we have had by him for a long time; signed with his initials on the reverse of a couple of panels (see images).
Dimensions aprox 18" high, 13.5" square across top.
