John P White garden seat Pyghtleworks

A fine example of a wide Arts & Crafts oak garden seat by John P White, The Pyghtle Works, Bedford (who were also responsible for executing many of the architect MH Baillie Scott best furniture designs - see our catalogue that we have by them for him). This particular model, The "Peacock" Design, was the first garden seat made at the Pyghtle Works and is illustrated page 6 in their "Garden Furniture & Ornament" (which we also have available for sale).
