Unusual early 20thC small (er) size grey terracotta Compton cherub sundial on an associated period fluted column (matching stone natural colouring), attributed to the Compton Potters Art Guild.
Almost identical to the Compton Pottery terracotta cherub sundial we have (the one on the motto Cobra pedestal) but of smaller overall proportions (see last image to compare).
Compton Pottery did produce these with some minor variations in detail and also different bases. Lovely thing.
