Fabulous profusely colourful late 19thC Anglo-Indian/Kashmiri 3/4 length silk lined coat jacket of good weight.
Cotton patchwork/crewelwork and "bejewelled" throughout with decorative mirrorwork, including the large fancy brass buttons.
The patchwork panels are made up of different embroidery and applique motifs forming the decoration.
Has had some minor repair work by a specialist fashion & textile conservator; in overall good condition with good strong colours.
