Lovely little Arts & Crafts Glasgow Style painted wooden trinket/jewellery box; early 20thC.
Painted on all sides and internally, mainly with beautiful mermaids (any other kind?!)
and a galleon to lid.
There appears to be an, as yet, unidentified monogramme to base. (under research)
Reminiscent of the work of Jessie Marion King and Elizabeth Mary Watt.
Approx 8" by 5" by 3"
