Superb Cotswold School long settle/day bed attributed to Edward Barnsley; c1930s.
The base on very strong iron castors/wheels.
Family provenance originally states that it came from a school (Capron House) on
Lord Cowdray's estate near Midhurst, West Sussex in England.
Re-upholstered approx 15/20 years ago. Mattress base lifts out.
Approx 7ft 6" wide/long, 38" overall depth and 34.5" height at back.
Dismantles easily for ease of transport etc (back comes off)
