A good arts & crafts oak and tiled wall hanging cabinet (but can rest on table top happily)attributed to Shapland & Petter of Barnstaple, circa 1900. The large tile with Dutch figural scene of children playing was very typical of the time and indeed was used by Shapland & Petter as well as Wylie & Lochhead and Liberty & Co (and this cabinet may well be by Liberty & Co themselves). For similar cabinet see page 46 of the recently published book on Shapland & Petter by Daryl Bennett.

Approx 28" wide, 24.5" high and 6.5" deep.
