An unusual excellent quality oak Austrian Secessionist armchair of geometric semi-dodecagonal form; the whole raised on six octagonal chamfered legs with further similar octagonal upright supports; c1900.
A triangular version of this chair was exhibited in the Gustave Klimt Exhibition held in 2008 at the Tate Gallery in Liverpool and the same triangular version can be seen
in an archive image of a room interior designed by Josef Hoffmann and Koloman Moser for the 5th Vienna Secession Exhibition
