A good Arts & Crafts Cotswold School 3ft wide single bed in walnut (with its side irons); c1920s/30s.
By the master Cotswold School furniture maker craftsman carver, Eric Sharpe (1888-1966).
Eric was originally a pupil of the furniture maker, writer and teacher, Arthur Romney Green (1872-1945), before he later moved on and set up his workshop, Thorn, in Martyr Worthy. Hampshire.
Excellent provenance, having originally come from Eric's sister Joan; thence by descent.
NB: the bed side irons are present, just not showing!
