An unusual pair of Arts & Crafts ebonised "devil" corbels (originally from a fireplace); one "Smiley", the other "Grumpy"!
Very much in the manner of the whimsical "self portrait" CFA Voysey devil caricature architectural features he designed; c1900.
As is; each approx 19" tall and would make a superb decorative feature.
We have kept the mantel shelf and and few other associated pieces in case buyer wishes to re-instate as a firepace surround of sorts.
