A rare (complete with its original matching 21 books) small open Glasgow Style bookcase designed byTalwin Morris (1865-1911), sometimes referred to as the " Roxborough" bookcase (on account of the type of book binding, half bound in calf leather); c1905.
This simply constructed stained pine/softwood bookcase with its Talwin Morris designed metal plates to each corner that mirror the design of the gilt edge book spines, contains the complete set of Gresham Classics; gilt tooling on red leather, with illustrious names such as Emily Bronte, Charles Dickens, George Elliot, Sir Walter Scott etc, etc. Gresham Publishing were affiliated with the Glasgow publishers Blackie & Son.  Overall very good condition throughout; minor age related wear and tear as to be expected! 

Approx 29" tall, 19.5" width, 6.75" depth.
