As good as it gets!
A rare set of 3 SEPARATE, INDEPENDENT/STAND ALONE, fully documented,
oak Cotswold School cabinets by the Cotswold School architect designer master; Ernest Gimson.
So each can be used in a different room/location; just that they were made together at the same time.
Comprising a central deeper tallboy (cupboard above three drawers) and flanked either side by a shallower depth hall robe.
Beautiful hand crafted metalwork by his trusted master blacksmith, Alfred Bucknell.
Each unit is fully independent but the three were designed together and made in his Daneway Workshop c1909.
The original drawing, dated October 23rd 1900 (see last image) for these is now held at the
Wilson Art Gallery & Museum in Cheltenham;

NB: the central tallboy unit is deeper than the outer two robes; just in the images they all look of equal depth.
Central tallboy unit approx 6ft high, 18” deep and 41.5” wide.
Outer cupboards 6ft high, 15” deep, and 39” wide each.
Excellent provenance; from the estate of the late Joan Griffith of Wellbrook Manor;
garden designer, a graduate of the Courtauld Institute of Art and the Tate Gallery.
