An extremely rare Gothic Revival oak dresser-cabinet by the great British architect-designer Charles Locke Eastlake (1836~1906).
Manufactured by Heaton, Butler and Bayne c1868, with twelve superb hand painted months of the year tile panels by Clement Heaton (1824-82) and equally exquisite brass metalwork strap hinges.
Another of his famous cabinets with similar painted tiles was exhibited in 1867 at the Paris Exposition Universelle
