A rare Cotswold School, three plank oak small dining table by Arthur Romney Green (1872-1945).
Typical diamond shaped carving to table top edging, the whole on further beautifully carved shaped legs, exposed peg jointing and a wishbone stretcher arrangement. Will comfortably seat six.  
Alternatively, can also be used as a hall, sofa or library table; c1935.
Arthur Romney Green was a sailor, poet, mathematician & master craftsman. After giving up teaching, he lived by making furniture in the Cotswold School style, which he exhibited at the Arts & Crafts Exhibition Society and at international exhibitions in Paris, Milan and St Louis.
