Rare WAS Benson copper shade table lamp

Rare Arts & Crafts very well patinated copper and brass table reading lamp by WAS Benson c1895.
Converted to electricity for UK use. Adjustable copper reflector shade, the whole on quadruped stylized feet.

A brass version was also shown at the Arts & Crafts Metalwork exhibition held at Blackwell in 2003, cat no. 17 on page 16 of the accompanying catalogue. c1900.
