Rare Arts & Crafts motto hall bench/settle in oak, by Shapland & Petter of Barnstaple ; c1900

Repousse patinated copper panel to back and inscription,“Welcome Ever Smiles” from “Welcome ever smiles, and farewell goes out sighing”, by William Shakespeare (1564-1616);Troilus & Cressida 3.3.
