SOLD

An extremely rare arts & crafts white metal pendant by the Keswick School of Industrial Arts (stamped to back).
The Keswick School are more renowned for their arts & crafts copper and brass metalwork. Most probably by Isobel McBean, one of the designers employed there at the time around 1901-1902. A central oval turquoise blue guilloche enamel plaque with three blister pearls set to sides and bottom with a heart shped frame and decoration. Very reminiscent of the jewellery style of Newlyn and CR Ashbee and the Guild of Handicrafts. Keswick jewellery rarely comes up in the open market.
Approx 1.75" drop.
