Unusual early 20thC Art Nouveau style small wall cabinet in walnut, with central panel carved in relief of a fierce looking feeding pike fish! 

Drop down base section to reveal storage recess.

Approx 21.5" wide, 13.25" high, 6" deep.

By A. Borlase Eady (Arthur Borlase Eady); carved monogramme to front panel and pencil signature to back.

Little is known about Borlase Eady but he did hold two selling exhibitions at the Sporting Gallery in London c1930, in which this particular cabinet appears to have been exhibited; exhibit No. 10 (A Feeding Pike): Price 16 gns

He was also a partner and director of Searle & Co, Silversmiths & Jewellers of Lombard St, London around 1900.
